Well we all made it back from the 2nd Annual Crawl 4 Christ event that was held in Disney, Oklahoma this year. It started out with a club members trail tire blowing out before we even got two counties away. After a quick tire change we were back on the road.

We arrived in Disney on Thursday evening and had went out on the trails for a short run. Then it was back in for some fellowship time with people we had met before and some that were new faces. The event was a success and alot of new friends were made. Travis Allen took on Little Blue and the Waterfall with no problems in his TJ. Ron’s explorer did great as always, other than a little problem with some driveshaft bolts. Again, another quick fix and back on the trails he went. Kevin also took on Little Blue and the Waterfall with no problems from the old Blazer.

All in all this was a well needed trip for me. Getting to watch the kids, and wife, play volleyball together was refreshing. Thanks again to David and Judy Austin for putting together such a great event. I already can’t wait till next year.

Until next time,

Well the group took off for SMORR for the Memorial Weekend. It was the whole gang and families. We also and a few new folks, the Allens and the Rogers family that came along. The weekend started off right with a torn sidewall on my newist tires (less than 7000 miles). A quick trail fix and we were back at it. By the time Sunday rolled around we were back and forth between the shelters and the trails due to the heavy rain fall. Gene lost his 4WD and was “out of serive” by late Saturday night. The Allens brought several Polaris Razors with this and should have been charging for rides. Sunday night rolled around and it was one more night of rain. Monday morning came and we all custered camp and decided to head home. Over all it was a great time and we all had to humble ourselves at one point or another. Video and pictures should be up soon on Facebook.

Until next time we see you “On the Rocks”.
